Olay

Olay is a line of skincare products developed by Proctor & Gamble, one of the largest consumer goods companies in the world. The line began in the 1950s, when most cosmetic products available were said to be greasy creams, but South African chemist Graham Wulff decided to try something else. Guided by his wife, Dinah, he reportedly developed formulas with light textures and easy absorption that brought out women’s inner beauty. Within a decade, Olay products were being snapped up by women worldwide. A series of sales of the label resulted in its final purchase, by P&G, in 1985, when it was still called Oil of Olay. One of the most popular brands of skincare products in the world, Olay is said to be constantly innovating while retaining the best of its traditional formulas.
