In general, we like to see manufacturers list their formularies for consumers to review, but this is especially true when the manufacturer has little or no experience in developing anti-aging products.

After thoroughly reviewing all the information available about Island Heat Deny Anti Aging Lotion, which frankly was very limited, we came to the conclusion that this product is basically a skin bronzer that was given a name that suggests it has some skin rejuvenating ability. We have noted this trend with some products, which are basically bronzers, but try to jump on the anti-aging band wagon to make a sale. This is possible because bronzers make you look like you have been in the sun, when you have not, thereby saving you from the sun damage you would have received on the beach. However, bronzers can not reverse skin damage, rejuvenate or regenerate skin in anyway; and should in no way be viewed as an actual anti-aging product because they are not.

Many successful “real” anti-aging and anti-wrinkle formulas will use a sun block in their formula along with ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, which is an excellent skin hydrating agent that has been shown to be able to restore skin smoothness and softness; as well as restoring the skins natural elasticity, which is an important component of reducing facial wrinkles. Argireline® is also a good anti-wrinkle agent which has been shown to be able to significantly reduce wrinkles and other signs of aging on facial skin. Island Heat Deny Anti Aging Lotion does not indicate that these ingredients are used in its formulary.

The webpage designed for Island Heat Deny Anti Aging Lotion is extremely limited in terms of any information about this product It basically is a very short paragraph of hype about the effectiveness of its formulary. A photo is not even posted along side the rather short paragraph. This may well be the skimpiest webpage we have ever seen in terms of information. There are no testimonials, no formulary information, no research and no FAQ section. Frankly, this webpage appears to be merely an after thought on the part of the distributor, which is a red flag for us in terms of product viability and effectiveness.

As we were reviewing Island Heat Deny Anti Aging Lotion’s product information, it became clear to us that the name is misleading; because it is clearly not an anti-aging product. However, it seems at best as a skin bronzer, which maybe useful for consumers who are interested in achieving a sunless tan. Island Heat Deny Anti Aging Lotion does not utilize any anti-aging technology or ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid and Argireline®; both of which have been shown to ease wrinkles, as well as increasing skin smoothness, softness and elasticity.

Clearly, Island Heat Deny Anti Aging Lotion’s would not be a good match for consumers who are looking for a product which will help with age related skin problems such as wrinkles, crows feet, expression lines and other skin blemishes. Consumers who want to address these issues might be better off looking for a product which uses proven anti-aging and anti-wrinkle agents.
