Epionce Review Summary

Epionce® is a skincare line that promotes a number of “soothing” treatment products. According to the company, Epionce® creams and lotions are designed to heal and protect the skin from the detrimental effects of the environment that may lead to aging. This company was founded in 2002, and is based in Boise, Idaho. The founder of the company, Dr. Carl R. Thornfeldt, is a practicing dermatologist.

We will determine if this line of products may offer a viable anti-aging option. When women look for an anti-aging cream, they are most often concerned with the eliminations of wrinkles and age spots. We will examine if the Epionce® line may effectively address these issues.

Products at a Glance
One of the anti-aging products promoted by Epionce® is the Renewal Facial Cream, which “boasts an unsurpassed formula”, according to the manufacturer. This product is said to reverse the visible signs of aging and prevent further skin damage from environmental causes.

At the time of this review, Epionce® does not post the complete formulas for their products online, but shares a few of the “key ingredients”. According to the company website, the Renewal Facial Cream contains Apple Fruit Extract, Rose Hip, Avocado and several others. Though, what other ingredients this product contains is not shared as of review. This may upset those who need to research a product before use to not only ensure quality, but to avoid potential allergic reactions.

Products in Focus
This product contains several ingredients that are said to deeply moisturize the skin. This provides some obvious benefits, such as a ready glow and overall enhanced appearance. Though, properly moisturized skin is also said to be a preventative anti-aging measure, since dry skin may accentuate and deepen wrinkles. Though, ultimately this is likely to only address the surface of the skin, and while it’s an important step in the anti-aging process, it may not be the only one.

We feel that a more effective anti-aging product would pair a powerful moisturizer with the ingredient, Matrixyl 3000®, which is said to stimulate the production of Collagen and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Collagen levels naturally decline with age, and since this substance is credited for providing skin with its youthful, plump appearance, it’s easy to see how such an ingredient is attractive. Unfortunately, it appears that these products do not contain this patented Collagen stimulator.

Website
We find the Epionce® website is intuitively organized. They order their products based on which step of the skincare regimen the company feels the product falls, and not necessarily by the benefits they provide. Also, as evident from the missing complete ingredient lists, this website is missing some key information as of review. We feel this site would be further enhanced if it also posted consumer reviews and cited research to indicate this line of products have been tested and reviewed for safety and effectiveness.

Positives
• Products contain moisturizing agents
• Company website is accessible

Final Thoughts
The Epionce® line is said to utilize revolutionary formulas, which may attract a fair amount of individuals. After examining the products in this line, we note that they contain several moisturizing agents that may provide the skin with enhancing benefits. Though, this line does not include the patented Collagen stimulator, Matrixyl 3000®, in any of the anti-aging formulas, so there may be little difference in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Some women may prefer to purchase from a company that offers a guaranteed return policy, even for open and used products. The Epionce® line may be rather pricey, and currently there is no return policy posted on the company site, so those who are unsatisfied may not be able to receive their money back.
