DermaSkin Review Summary

DermaSkin EFA Formula is a capsule-based supplement that is advertised to maintain and enhance healthy skin. The makers of this product say that it may make skin appear younger from the “inside out.” Some people may find it odd to use a capsule supplement to address the issue of anti-aging as there are plenty of topical cream options on the market to choose from as well.

We will take a closer look at this capsule formula to determine if regular use will be able to enhance the appearance of skin as advertised.

Ingredients at a Glance
According to an online description, this product may contain some of the following ingredients: Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Zinc, Organic Flax Seed Oil, Borage Seed Oil, Burdock Root Extract, Yellow Dock Root Extract, Gelatin, Glycerin, Beeswax (Emulsifier), Water, Lecithin and Caramel.

The manufacturer recommends that individuals take two capsules daily to maximize results. This product is said to be free of stimulants and any other ingredients that may provide jolting side effects.

Ingredients in Focus
This formula contains an assortment of ingredients that are also found in a number of topical creams. It’s well known that Vitamin C and E may provide the skin with multiple benefits. When applied topically, these two ingredients can work together to protect the skin from sun damage and may also work to hydrate the skin and enhance its natural radiance. When taken orally, such benefits may not be as strong; however, these vitamins are good for overall health and are likely to provide the skin with a new glow.

The contained Flax Seed Oil is said to be a rich source for Omega-3 Fatty Acids. The manufacturer of this product notes that Omega-3’s help maintain healthy skin and are also important for skin texture, suppleness and moisture. However, when it comes to reducing the appearance of wrinkles this formula is not likely to generate significant results.

We do feel that a direct approach to anti-aging is best when trying to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. We prefer creams that contain potent anti-wrinkle ingredients with the moisturizer Hyaluronic Acid (HA). HA is thought to be the best hydrator on the market as it penetrates deep into the skin to deliver results. It may even correct and prevent fine lines. Though, the best results occur when HA is contained in a cream that also includes Argireline®. This patented ingredient smoothes out deep lines and creases by causing the facial muscles to relax, smoothing out the upper dermal layers. Of course, it’s likely that people most concerned with reducing the appearance of wrinkles would appreciate such a cream over this capsule supplement.

Consumer Reviews
We were unable to find any consumer reviews for this supplement online. This was rather surprising as most products have at least some feedback posted from past users. We suspect that the lack of consumer reviews may indicate that this product produces such lack-luster results that few people are motivated enough to go online and share their experience.

We have come across reviews for creams that contain the above mentioned Argireline®. The majority of these reviews are positive as consumers are satisfied with the anti-aging results this ingredient may produce.

Positives
• Formula is free of stimulants
• Complete ingredient list is posted online for consumer review

Final Thoughts
In the end, people who were interested in this product may find it hard to purchase. All online retailers we came across currently list DermaSkin EFA Formula as “unavailable” or “sold out.” This does make us wonder if the manufacturer has discontinued this product and stopped manufacturing supplies. Fortunately, there are plenty of other options available, and we believe those people who desire a direct approach to wrinkles are likely to appreciate a topical cream that contains the above mentioned Argireline®.
