Botoceutical Review Summary

Botoceutical® is a brand of topical skincare products marketed primarily towards women looking to reduce the visible signs of facial aging, including wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin. The company also appears to manufacture and market a variety of other nutritional and healthcare products, but its skincare products seem to be featured more than the others.

The company says these topical solutions have been formulated with the latest technology and the leading ingredients, but many women may not check to see that these claims are backed up properly. Unfortunately, many products may not, in fact, deliver advertised results. We will get a closer look at these particular items to see if they may be worth considering.

Products at a Glance
According to the official website, the company has some of the following products for sale at time of review: Anti-Wrinkle Biotechnology Serum, advertised as “a revolutionary skin serum which relieves your skin after 15,000 facial expressions performed during one day; and Anti-Eye-Bag Biotechnology Serum Against Swollen Eyes, whose intended function may be self-explanatory.

Other products for the face may include Botoceutical® Gold and Botoceutical® Platiunum, both of which are marketed towards women (and some men) 45 years of age and over; Collagenceutical, advertised as an alternative to BOTOX® injections; and Laserceutical, marketed as a two-phase formula for replicating the effects of chemical peels and laser surgeries.

Products in Focus
We are glad to see that Collagenceutical may contain Hyaluronic Acid, but we are confused about the name of the product, considering it does not seem to contain any Fresh Collagen. Rather, the company says the ingredients may promote natural Collagen production. Collagen is believed to be important for maintaining a younger-looking complexion.

Hyaluronic Acid, on the other hand, is said to be one of the most effective retainers of water and moisture available today. It is believed to promote softer, smoother and younger-looking skin, while retaining elasticity. Like Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid is said to be present naturally in the body, but as we age, our natural sources of these substances may become depleted.

Some women may be led to believe that these aforementioned products are among the leading skincare products available today, considering the company markets them as superior topical solutions for mature skin. However, we note that a full list of ingredients for each product does not appear to be disclosed at time of review, which may worry many women.

We hope that, in addition to Hyaluronic Acid, some of the products contain ingredients like Matrixyl 3000® and Argireline®. These are believed to be the most powerful, yet safe anti-aging ingredients currently on the market. Without the inclusion of these elements, the formula may not perform as well as desired.

Final Thoughts
Botoceutical® may be positioned on the market as a quality brand of anti-aging skincare products, but we question whether they may actually come through with advertised results. It seems there is very little pertinent information posted on the Web at time of review, including an apparent lack of consumer testimonials and shortage of references to clinical studies.

We also note that money-back guarantees may not be available for any of these products at time of review. This troubles us, because we believe women should have the liberty to try a product risk-free without having to worry about whether the product may work or not. Some companies are known to even offer 100 percent money-back guarantees on opened products.
