Bioque Serum makes us of Argireline, Vitamin Liposomes A, C, & E, Sacred Lotus Seed Extract, Mimosa Pudica Extract, Hydrolized Collagen, Eethanol, Calcium Pyruvate, Ceteraryl Alcohol, Phospholipids, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene and Dimethicone, as well as other ingredients out lined on the website. We will take a brief look at a few of these ingredients.

Sacred Lotus Seed Extract is an extract from the Nelumbo Nucifera Gaertn Seed, which may have some antioxidant and anti-inflammatory affects. It has also been used in folk medicine as a treatment for ongoing diarrhea, seminal emission, palpitations and insomnia.

Mimosa Pudica Extract is also known around the world as Lajalu, Chui – Mui and Sensitive Plants, which has been traditionally used to treat bleeding disorders like menorrhagia, dysentery with blood and mucus, and piles.

Vitamin C is known to be both an antioxidant and food additive. It is often used ectensively by people during the cold and flue season, to ward off illness.

Calcium Pyruvate has been used recently in a great many fat burners and weight loss formulas because of reports suggesting that it can significantly reduce fat, boosts endurance and decrease cholesterol.

Bioque Serum uses a serum based delivery system to try to help consumers achieve more youthful appearing skin. We were glad to see that Bioque takes its consumer responsibilities seriously and posts its formulary on its website. We believe access to this information is extremely important – Bioque gets an A for disclosure. However, this formulary disclosure revealed a less than effective formulary.

Nevertheless, we were very pleased to see that this product uses Argireline in its formulary, which has been proven to be an extremely effective skin restoring agent. It has shown excellent results in decreasing the effects of aging. Argireline is a mix of amino acids that have been able to help relax wrinkles of the face, as well as lessen the amount of observable wrinkles and delay the on set of additional wrinkles.

However, this formula uses ingredients which have no known effect on easing wrinkles or rejuvenating skin, such as Sacred Lotus Seed Extract and Mimosa Pudica Extract. These two herbs are very helpful in treating other conditions. For instance, Sacred Lotus Seed Extract is used for treating diarrhea; while Mimosa Pudica Extract is used to help heal bleeding disorders. These two herbs have not been shown to rejuvenate the skin or heal it in any way. We seriously question the use of these types of ingredients in this formulary by the manufacturer; as well as their exclusion of ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, which has been very successful in helping restore elasticity, smoothness and softness to skin.

In general, we would have liked to have seen the Bioque Technology website, not only list the ingredients used but also explain what those ingredients actually do. We would have welcomed some additional information and the opportunity to be proven wrong about our conclusions about the overall weakness of this formulary. However, that did not happen.

We would have also liked to have seen some testimonials clearly and proudly posted on the website. We believe, in general, that testimonials are an important source of information for consumers, who are investigating products. They provide them with peer related information which can be very helpful in making a choice. Also, most manufacturers who have testimonials from satisfied customers want to post them for both sales and marketing reasons.

In the end, Bioque Serum is a very weak and ineffective formula, which uses many filler herbs, which we believe have no effect on skin health or skin rejuvenating. This formula does use Argireline in its formulary, which we believe, as mentioned earlier, to be effective in boosting skin smoothness, elasticity and softness. However, we would have liked to have seen them use less filler herbs and more ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, which has a proven ability to reduce wrinkles.
